My Favorite Trip：Crossing the border from Costa Rica．I've grown especiaIIv attached to Isla de Ometepe(p137)．though the Archipielago de Solentiname(p266)may prompt me to cross via Los Chiles more often.I love witchy Diriomo(p104)；Managua(p68)．which grows on you；and Le6n(p15g)．with wonderful volcanoes．While the w*** of the Northern Highlands are enchanting(and refreshingly cool)．Jinotega(p217)is the nation．s most spectacular unsung gem．But the great joy of this job is taking a Blue Bird school bus past massive ceiba trees and tiny．red-roofed Moravian churches into Reserva de Biosfera Bosawas(p230)．where I just have to return.
